Fun at Edison’s

One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my family.  With winter upon us we are always looking for fun things to go do indoors.  One of our favorite places to spend an afternoon is Edison’s Entertainment Complex in Edwardsville, Illinois.  We usually head over for lunch first.  Their menu is affordable and very good!  The best thing of all, they give the kids tablets to play on at the table, FOR FREE!  As a parent all I can say is, THANK YOU!

After lunch, we usually head over to the arcade, because the little guys need to burn off some energy.  Their favorite game is some sort of pirate adventure where they get to shoot the bad guys.  It is 2 player, plus there is a steering wheel that is perfect for my two year old to be in charge of!

Jack, my four year old, and I normally take a time out from the video games to play laser tag.  We have so much fun, and despite my best attempts to take a photograph of him in his “Gear” he informed me that it was against the rules 🙂 .

When we are finished running around, our whole family heads over to the bowling lanes.  Edison’s has really mastered the bowling with children experience.  They can set guardrails that pop up on the children’s turn.  They have toddler sized bowling shoes and lightweight house balls.  Not to mention, this ramp (that I never knew we always needed), is literally a ball ramp that the younger kiddos can set their ball on and push down.

Hungry again?  Don’t worry, there are servers from the bar and restaurant available to bring you whatever you need while you are finishing up you game!  This indoor play place may be Edwardsville’s very own Disneyland!  See what’s new there by visiting their site.
