Photo Session Location

Picking a Photo Session Location

Let’s plan the perfect portrait.  First order of business is selecting a photo session location!

Sessions At Your House

Having your session at home?  First, I will need to spend a few minutes looking for the  best light.  This could be in a bedroom, living room, dining room or kitchen.  Please take some time prior to the session to get these rooms ready.  Picking up books, boxes, dishes, clothes and toys gives us a clean canvas to work with focusing on your family in the photographs.  If I believe any additional styling is needed we can work together to create the perfect atmosphere for your session.

We will discuss possible props prior to your session and I will bring what was agreed upon with me.  I can also work to incorporate things from your home as props whenever possible.

Sessions On Location

We will collaborate to find the perfect location for the style of photography session that best suits you and your family.  Settings can vary from an urban city session, local neighborhood, scenic landscape, park or playground.  Also please keep in mind that if we are meeting outdoors and have bad weather, we can select an alternate location or cancel the session.  I will do my best to reschedule your session as quickly as possible depending upon my availability.
